February 2012
Yes, please.
I just saw that one of the theaters in town is having a double feature in April.
American Splendor and Ghost World.
This excites me greatly.
This movie made me eat clovers.
I'm watching Bambi right now and am reminded of another story from school.
This time from elementary school.
I forget why, or if we watched just clips or the whole thing, but my class watched Bambi.
And after we did a bunch of parents complained because they said it portrayed hunters in a negative light.
Ah, the joys of living in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, aka-Hickville, USA.
That last post reminds me of a cringe-worthy anecdote from high school.
We had just read A Sound of Thunder and were discussing it afterwords like we were all forced to do.
The teacher was going on and on about stuff and when she got to talk about the Tyrannosaurus rex, she pronounced as tie-rhinoceros.
Really?
You can see how I'm too lazy to delete emails in that last post.
I just heard a late high school/early college-aged gal ask what a mink was.
Oh.
I worked from 10am to 11:30pm yesterday.

(I am the koala and life is the fist.)
