I’ve been a Marvel reader all my life. I’d pick up the occasional Batman or Green Hornet or other random titles if the art caught my eye, but I’ve just never gotten into the DC universe. I’ve wanted to in the past few years, but I just had no idea where to start. So because of that, I kind of dig this DC reboot.
Yes, I picked up Justice League #1 today. And I think I’ll definitely pick up future issues. What I DON’T really like, however, is the idea of like Action Comics or Detective Comics coming to an end. Titles that have been going on forever. That kinda bums me out, but I’ll get over it.
It’s the same with the Uncanny X-Men. I’ve been reading that comic since I could read, and I hate to see it end even though it’s coming back in a couple months.
My character limit is running out so I’ll say this: I fucking love having my own comic shop. I created my first pull list on Monday. So far two Batman comics and the two new X-Men ones starting soon.

Comic geekery. Move along if you still think I'm cool and hip. I'd hate to ruin that illusion for you.

X-Men: Schism?
More like X-Men: This Series Makes Me Jizm.
Seriously, I’m really digging it.
I don't have to do a thing today.
The first time since last Monday. I’ve had to go into work at least once a day every day. I kind of hate it but it’s cool, I guess. The boss isn’t the easiest guy to work for but I’ll stick through the bullshit.
Still no furniture.
Kitteh on Fiday.
Blah blah.
On the walk back to my apartment just now I got stopped by an older gentleman who asked, “Hey! Do you know of some scrawny fuck named Purple who lives somewhere around here?”
I do not. I wish I did, though.
I think I accidentally showed up to this cafe right before what I can safely assume is a belly dancing and hula hoop performance.
