Found this in an old notebook of mine

That’s why I like zombie movies so much. It’s the best symbolization of real life there is in film. You’re surrounded by mindless people who are out to get you and you have to kill so survive. You may have a couple people close to you along the way, but chances are you’ll lose them and you’ll be by yourself. And at the end of the day, the world is in shambles and there is no chance that it will be any better tomorrow.
